The structure of the power industry in the UK means that high volume users of power are able to negotiate relatively low unit costs. Similarly, companies that are able to accurately forecast their power usage are in strong negotiating positions when agreeing rates.
Companies using low power volumes do not usually have the opportunity to negotiate power rates. IGEM has many customers, all striving to reduce their power usage and all monitoring their power usage patterns. We can work with a community of our customers to negotiate rates with end suppliers and share unit cost savings with you.
We will be working with you to minimise and normalise your power utilisation. Once your power patterns are understood we can also work with you to facilitate power procurement.
